Eliana Perez is from Colombia. She studied Fine Arts and Bookmaking at the Universidad Nacional in Colombia and Cooper Union in NYC. Eliana now lives and works in New York City. Eliana is an associated artist of the Booklyn Artists Alliance, an artist-run collective dedicated to producing innovative artist books as an art form.

She has produced projects in collaboration with Xu Bing, Christopher Wilde, Mark Wagner, Marshall Weber, Kurt Allerslev, and Ulrike Stoltz. Her solo exhibitions include: "Accumulations," Emily Murphy Art, Madrid, Spain (2007); "Inventory: 100 Drawings," Universidad Nacional Colombia (2004); "Mannequin," Queensborough CC, New York, NY (1997); "Invitation to Water," Galeria Arte 19, Bogota, Colombia (1995) Other recent exhibitions of Eliana's work include: "Just Words," Morono Kiang Gallery, Los Angeles, CA (2007); "Found in Translation," Center for Book Arts NYC and San Francisco (2006); "Solo Dibujo," Museo Universidad Nacional Colombia (2004); "What the book?," Flux Factory, Queens, NYC (2004); "Sketchy," Parsons School of Design, NYC (2003).
Her drawings have been published in The New York Times and The New York Times Book Review, and have been selected for publication in the American Illustration Anthologies for 2004 (#24), 2005 (#25), 2006 (#26) and 2007 (#27).
