Booklyn’s Decade Archive amply illustrates how the transition from analog to digital technology affected artists’ practices (particularly the practices of contemporary bookmakers). More broadly, the archive documents the organization’s central role in shifting the collecting and acquisitions practices of Special Collections libraries from a focus on antiquarian and fine press material to a focus on contemporary, content- and culture-driven books made by artists.
