MLK Day Mini Camp

At Zine Camp kids aged 7-10 (or 2nd-5th grades) will do hands-on zine and bookmaking activities at Old Stone House (in Washington Park & JJ Byrne Playground). We will also get outdoor time at the playground and field just outside. 

We’ll explore the world of hands-on DIY book and zine making using paper, scissors, gluesticks, stamps, markers, bone folders, photocopiers, coil-punch binders, staple binders, needle-and-thread binding, and a lot more! Techniques for reusing and recycling household materials will be taught as well as creative folding techniques.

No experience is necessary, but an interest in crafts, comics, artmaking, drawing, or writing goes a long way at Zine Camp! Questions? Email us at [email protected].
