Discover the Art of Bookmaking While Building Your English Skills!

From October 2024 through June 2025, join artist María Verónica San Martín of Booklyn, Inc., for a unique series of monthly workshops that blend creativity with language learning.

Held on the first Wednesday of each month, these eight workshops offer a fun and welcoming space to explore handmade book forms while strengthening English language skills. You’ll learn key bookmaking terms—like the parts of a book, tools, and materials—and use them in real conversation with fellow participants. Each session will focus on a unique bookform like accordion fold, flagbook, or hardcover books. Whether you’re brand new to book arts or English learning, this workshop is for you.

No experience needed, and all materials are provided. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn!

De octubre de 2024 a junio de 2025, acompaña a la artista María Verónica San Martín de Booklyn, Inc. en una serie única de talleres mensuales que combinan la creatividad con el aprendizaje del idioma.

Realizados el primer miércoles de cada mes, estos ocho talleres ofrecen un espacio divertido y acogedor para explorar formas de libros hechos a mano mientras fortaleces tus habilidades en inglés. Aprenderás términos clave de encuadernación—como las partes de un libro, herramientas y materiales—y los practicarás en conversaciones reales con otros participantes. Cada sesión se enfocará en una técnica diferente, como el libro en acordeón, el flagbook o libros de tapa dura.

No necesitas experiencia previa, y todos los materiales están incluidos. ¡Solo trae tu curiosidad y ganas de aprender!
