A singular set of rare lacquered pen and ink newspaper interventions (Tripp usually does not coat his collage works) primarily made with black ballpoint ink pen. In this stark series of interventions, Tripp’s astute and intricate drawings precisely skewer the cloudy normalization of, and resistance to, colonial land theft and continuing economic oppression as once exemplified by newspaper advertising and so-called journalism.
