A wonderful series of 10 drawings from across 4 decades of Brian D. Tripp’s practice, this portfolio provides a wide survey of the various styles, bodies of work, and concerns of one of the major Karuk and American artists of the 20th and 21st Centuries. The set includes examples of Tripp’s newspaper interventions, his stained glass-like drawings, his early geometric iconographic ‘abstractions’, and his collaged drawings which often included aluminum foil, mirror, stones, and wood components.
