University of Connecticut (UCONN)

A double-sided triptych of three sugar lift etchings by Weber (printed with Michael Kempson at Cicada Press at the University of New South Wales in Sydney) backed with a remnant of an acrylic stencil painting (on canvas) of Martin Luther King by street muralist LMNOPI, and calligraphed with one of King’s crucial, yet lesser known forceful statements.

The etchings were pulled in 2015 and were catalyzed by Eric Garner’s tragic last words as he was murdered by police in New York City in 2014; these words were unfortunately echoed by George Floyd while he was being murdered by Minneapolis police in 2020.
