When Brian D. Tripp was alive his home was a non-stop meeting place for activists, creatives, and eccentrics from all over the world, as well as a defacto community and cultural center for local Karuk and other tribe members. Since he frequently expected visitors, when he went out he would leave notes on his door to let folks know what was up. These poignant (and sometimes hilarious dispatches) provide an intimate glimpse of Brian’s hospitality and daily activities. Booklyn honors these artifacts with an appropriate frame and book structure.
