One of the last major collage books available from Brian D. Tripp, who left Turtle Island in 2022, On A Scale looks at the human cost and impact resulting from the ongoing personal trauma associated with the multiple macro and micro-aggressions perpetrated on First Nation peoples by US of American colonialism and white supremacy. The book’s celebration of Karuk culture through the intimate and poetic first-person testimony and the dramatic presentation of numerous Karuk cultural icons is, in of itself, a powerful act of resistance.

The book has various sized pages, multiple papers and media, and is composed of artwork of Brian’s that spans over four decades.
