Artist Statement:

“You can leave, you can always leave. And when you leave, remember that there’s always a chance of returning. A silly little hope, tiny and frail but enough to spend the rest of your days with. You can leave but always leave with the scent of coming back home, lingering on the doorstep. Always with her voice calling you back, always with the hopes of returning to the old streets, old bazaars, reciting new dastaans. You were here before, it’s the same place, but are you the same person? You can leave my beloved, for I know one day you will return, won’t you?”
