Hand-printed linoleum blockprint map tracing the usage of uranium from DR Congo’s Shinkolobwe mine in the US Army’s Manhattan Project. Based on original research by the artist, the block was printed on kozo paper and then wheat-paste backed with sekishu paper. Trimmed and folded using the Miura-ori map-fold technique, the map is enclosed in handmade artist boxes with a risograph-printed and hand-bound pamphlet including two essays on the subject matter by the artist.
