The following artists contributed prints to Booklyn over the years: Ganzeer, Anna Hellsgaard, and Christian Gfeller, New York Year Zero, Mark Taylor, and Marshall Weber. These donated prints and ephemera were then ‘remixed’ by Weber at Booklyn, and carried to San Francisco to Cuba, who painted the following poem (also by Weber) over the collided prints.
A Booklyn Collab.
the past is cold
the future is burning
a flaming wheel of knives
spinning
into the wilderness
of mirrors
please
open your eyes
and tell me again
how this came to pass
this firestorm
of lies made truth
and truth made lies
how this molten heat
flourished in human form
identified
entwined
your body transfigured
into boundary less smoke
your hot tongued story
burnt into stone
unforgettable
yet
incomprehensible
