Shaun Levin is a South African artist based in Madrid, Spain. As a teenager, he immigrated to Israel with his family, and in his early 30s moved to London where he lived for twenty years before moving to Spain. His novels and short-story collections include
Seven Sweet Things,
Alone with a Man in a Room, and
Snapshots of The Boy, amongst others. His work has appeared in over fifty anthologies and journals. Amongst them:
Modern South African Short Stories,
The Slow Mirror: New Fiction by Jewish Writers, and
Boyfriends from Hell. He set up and edited the literary and arts magazine,
Chroma, and more recently
The A3 Review. For the past 25 years he has been teaching creative writing and has written three guides for writers taking on book-length projects. In 2012, he began making handmade books, photobooks, and zines under the pseudonym
Michael Wynne, a process that has lead him to creating large format artist's books under his own name.
