An American photographer, Huddleston was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and grew up in the Washington, DC area and in West Africa. She earned a bachelor's from Stanford University and a master's in journalism from Columbia University. Her work has been published in The New York Times, Zeit Magazine, and National Geographic Explorer, and exhibited in group and solo shows worldwide. Prints of her photographs are in the collection of the British Library, the US Library of Congress, and the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art.
