Booklyn’s mission is to promote artists’ books as art and research material and to assist artists and organizations in documenting, exhibiting, and distributing their artworks and archives.

Interns at Booklyn are involved with all aspects of the administration of an artist-run non-profit art organization. Specific activities, supervised by Booklyn staff, fall into the following categories:

Art inventory
Graphic design / book production
Social media / promotion
Curatorial practice / exhibition preparation
Arts administration

We encourage interns to take on projects that align with their interests. Intern applications are evaluated on a rolling basis. To apply, please send a resume and cover letter to M. Tracey Ober at tracey@booklyn.org.
