Biography
The daughter of hippie communists, Irina learned the meaning of crisis and struggle at a very young age. She became an anarchist at 15, and had Spanish Civil War exiles and anarcho punks as her role models. She went to art school at UNAM and participated in the longest student strike in Latin America. She has taken pictures and designed posters, banners and fliers for countless demonstrations, protests and summits, in addition to marching, painting graffiti, agitating and barricading next to er comrades in the streets of the U.S., Chile, Spain, Mexico, Greece, Germany, Argentina, the U.K., Palestine and Egypt. Irina currently lives in New York.
